Though the banking industry may seem like a world away from working on a dairy and farm, Mulling says that the two aren't all that different. He uses the skills he honed within the banking industry every single day at the Lodge.
A core focus of his plan for the future of the dairy and farm is to increase the brand awareness and position Flat Creek as a high quality producer of cheese, berries and mushrooms. The team will also look to expand selling to distributors to help get products to as many end consumers as possible. He enjoys working with the dairy team, and credits them for producing a quality and innovative line of artisan cheese. The team is always experimenting and has plans to expand into new categories and flavor profiles going forward.
Mulling finds just being on the Flat Creek property "calming," and he is thankful for the opportunity to be at the Lodge, calling it a "dream come true!"
