This past Friday was a very special day for my wife (Nancy) and me.  What a great treat it was to have lunch at Flat Creek Lodge and to have dined in such a fine manner!  You folks made our anniversary special.  The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was the best!  I have to believe that you went beyond your ordinary manner of doing things, just for us, since the food and service was so extraordinary in itself.  If  Nancy had not been there when I paid, I could have convinced her that it cost much more.  We felt like celebrities, having the place all to ourselves and having such special attention shown to us.

We visited Flat Creek Lodge for our 4th wedding anniversary. My wife coined a phrase not long after we arrived to try and describe the lodge. She dubbed the place " RUSTIC-POSH " for the warm country feel you receive upon arrival to elegant appointments throughout. Details are everything and none are missed with the finely tuned organization running this establishment. From the moment we arrived, each staff member showed the utmost in courtesy and attention to our every need. Wherever we went , someone would greet us and ask if there was anything they could assist us with or was there anything we needed to make our stay any better.

Even as the Chef (whom we had met after a totally awesome dining experience) as he was leaving for the evening, stopped his vehicle to ask if there was anything he could do for me. I stated I was just going to see if I could find some coffee after everything had closed, he proceeded to try and find someone who could help. Steve, from check - in , took over and saw to making it happen ! This is just one example of how the staff at Flat Creek Lodge is out to make your stay and incredible as possible!!!

Speaking about the Chef, all meals at the restaurant were scrumptious, the desserts are astounding and the wait staff is top notch. No hoity-toity atmosphere just dining refinement at it's best ! The GROUPON deal made things so affordable for us. We are anxious to return to Flat Creek Lodge (at the very least annually, if not more often) and hoping for another GROUPON offer again in the future.

We had such a wonderful time at the resort last weekend. The staff is fantastic. The entire group was warm, friendly, and welcoming. What a nice change from todays hotels.
